Description

The Formalin Dispensing Cabinet is a multi-dispensing fume hood that is compact, recirculating and has been designed to provide operator safety and ease of use in laboratory applications, specifically for the dispensing of Formalin. Capture of fumes is achieved by inward airflow at a velocity of > 0.5 m/s.

The upper housing contains the mains switch, low-airflow alarm, speed control and carbon filter.

Application

The Formalin Dispensing Cabinet can also be a multi dispensing fume cabinet, adaptable for use in a range of laboratory filling applications. The FDC is available in 2 sizing options, 900mm and 1200mm. Cabinets are fitted with a deep pan sump to capture and control spillage during dispensing process. The roomy built-in storage below the sump enables storage for the containment of chemicals in a safe, and controlled manner. This area can be fitted with or without doors.

On-Site Testing
FDC multi dispensing fume hoods are factory tested and certified by a NATA-Accredited laboratory. Additional testing and certification is recommended as follows:
• On site prior to use
• After maintenance or filter replacement
• After re-location
• Annually
• In special circumstances, e.g. if faulty operation is suspected.
