Roll Media & Cut Pads

To accommodate a wide variety of roll filter sizes and manufacturers, Email roll media is available in a range of spool types, widths and stud attachments. 

Where required Email Air Handling can give advice on the replacement of Automatic Roll Filters, with panel and bag filters using filter frames. This media is typically used in Autoroll units for limited operating period or low occupancy establishments such as small offices, clubs, hotels, shops and function rooms. Media is also available as cut pads that are suitable for email re-loadable frames or cut to customer requirements. The Email medias that are suitable for cut-pads have been specially developed for the air intakes and extracts of HVAC units and can be used in selected mechanical and process applications. This includes media suitable for use in paint spray booths and kitchen hoods. 

Performance 

Email roll media is manufactured in a range of efficiencies and dust holding capacities, with fibre densities that give varying pressure drops for any particular air flow capacity. 

The Email roll media products are manufactured from synthetic fibres to a carefully controlled and uniform density and texture. For Autoroll media, backing scrim is bonded to the downstream surface of the media in order to provide the reinforcement necessary for transport of the media across the filter aperture. Autoroll media is supplied wound upon a metal spool ready for direct installation within the roll filter. Various spool designs are represented to exactly suit the installation and drive features appropriate to all the differing designs and makes of roll filters into which Email roll media can be installed. Refills suitable or either ‘standard’ or ‘reverse’ flow versions of the various roll filter types are available also.
