Vokes Veelon Roll

VOKES Veelon Roll Filter Media is manufactured from a blend of synthetic fibres and supplied as loaded spools for the servicing of Automatic Roll Filters. Available as Veelon or Veelon Plus for higher efficiencies, a range of standard roll widths is available to suit most installations. Refills are available for VOKES units including Mini Roll, Minivee, Autovee, Slimline Autoroll and Package Units. For other manufacturers’ equipment. Refills can be supplied by VOKES for most Automatic Roll Filters currently in service. Where required VOKES can give advice on the replacement of Automatic Roll Filters, with panel and bag filters using filter frames. Veelon Media Veelon is a lofted non-woven filter media, manufactured from a special blend of synthetic fibres. The synthetic fibres are blended together to provide a complex matrix, ensuring efficient depth filtration throughout the media. Since each fibre is interlocked with adjacent fibres, the possible risk of fibre carry over is avoided. Veelon media is suitable for use at humidity levels of up to 100%. Veelon Media is manufactured in two grades, as Veelon for standard applications and Veelon Plus where higher efficiencies are required. Both media are available in all widths studded and in selected widths unstudded.  

APPLICATIONS 

VOKES Veelon and Veelon Plus media are available as loaded spools, for the servicing of Automatic Roll Filters. To select a suitable refill for a particular automatic unit, it is necessary to establish the following: 

Type of Automatic Unit 

In the first instance establish whether the refill is required for a ‘Small Range’ or ‘Large Range’ 

Automatic Unit: 

› Small Range Units – Mini Roll, Minivee and  

Small Package Units. 

› Large Range Units – Autovee, Slimline  

Autoroll and Large Package Units. 

Roll Filter Width  

Establish from the Automatic Roll Filter a suitable refill width from the range of sizes between 457mm (1 ft 6in) and 1830mm (6ft). 

Media Type  

Select either Veelon or high efficiency Veelon Plus Both Media are available in all widths studded and in selected widths unstudded.
